Maria Patricia (nee Flynn) Wilson

Wilson Maria Patricia Wilson (nee Flynn) passed away on Monday June 29, 2020 at her home in Willow Grove, PA. at the age of 57 with loved ones by her side. Maria was born in Philadelphia, PA to Berenice (nee McGlynn) and the late Thomas J. Flynn, Sr. Maria was the beloved former wife of Robert J. Wilson Jr., loving mother of Matthew R. Wilson, dear sister to Thomas J. Flynn, Jr. (Annette) and the late David J. Flynn. Maria was the beloved Aunt of Bryan, Brittany, Rose, Mary, Thomas J.III, Patrick and Makayla. Maria was most recently employed by Jefferson University Hospital where she worked as a Registered Nurse. During her career Maria had the pleasure of working at Northeastern Hospital, Abington Hospital, and Pennsylvania Hospital with her Master of Science in Nursing. In her leisure hours, Maria enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, scrapbooking, gardening and the beaches of New Jersey, her favorite being Strathmere. Due to the current Pandemic Health Restrictions, Maria's Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Craft-Givnish Funeral Home of Abington, PA. A public Life Celebration Ceremony for Maria will be held at a future date with notification for extended family and friend participation. The family would like to sincerely thank the Wilson, Schmickle, Henry and Lutz families for their love, care and support during Maria's long battle with cancer. In addition, Maria received care and support from the amazing team at Jefferson Home Care and Hospice in her final days.
