I'm glad I got to visit with Mr. Settle a year ago when he was around the corner from my mother's room; it was also good to visit with you friends, David and Harris, and I so appreciated Ramona being a good friend to my mom up to the end. I'm sorry for your loss and regret that I couldn't be present for the services.

We were saddened by the news of Mr. Settle's passing. He was a kind and generous man, and will be dearly missed. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
Although your hearts are saddened by his passing, your loss is Heaven's gain. I can see Mr. Settle walking with Jesus through a field of flowers. And I believe that Heaven will be even more beautiful with Mr. Settle there.

To Ramona, Harris, Ben and the entire family. There are few words that could express what a great man David was to so many of us. He was the strength that bound his family. He led by example. He always took time to listen, talk, help. He was never at a loss for an entertaining story to share. He loved his family, his friends and his neighbors. We mourn his loss to us, but celebrate the life he lived, the laughter he shared, the smile that shall be etched in our memories.
