To;Marie Bittle and Family,I am so surprised at all of this as I had seen you and Mike on your Anniversary,I think this was the last day I was there to see both of you. It;s so difficult to put into words always how awesome my Best Friend Michael was as we had the same interest,He loved motorcycles and fast cars and shooting and he enjoyed the fruits of his labor with his dedication towards his house and always wanted the best for his wife as I had seen this first hand in working with Mike on his great home.We had so many laughs and great times and I am so proud of him as an outstanding man and not always as a friend, but he truly reminded me of my dad with his great sense of humor. He was so kool he lived and breathed greatness and never gave up.I always told him that I would look out for him and his family and Mikie loved to hear that as we truly were best of friends as not once did he ever turn his back on me ashe truly was a friend to the end and forever and will always be my best friend,May you rest in peace my best buddy With Love from John @ Sarah Smith and family from Doylestown,Pa

Marie, Bill, Erin, Steph and Greg, Steve & Isaiah - Keeping you all in my prayers. So many memories. One of my favorite Michael memories was when we were all in Cressona for A. Glady & U. Harold's 50th wedding anniversary. Mark & Shelley and I drove up and stopped at a local watering hole for a quick beverage before we went to the party. As we were ordering, someone came up behind me, hoisted me up and spun me around in the air! Michael! We all laughed so hard. Love you all, Heidi & Joe

A tribute to Michael - Part 3: Michael, Marie and Billy would often visit with the family on Thanksgiving. We would target practice with our guns and have many laughs and groans around our pool table. Michael often told me that he loved me like a brother. I knew that I could count on him for ANYTHING! That's the way he was. I love him too and thank God for the cherished times we got to spend together.

A tribute to Michael - Part 2: Not so much a thrill was when Shell and I went to visit him during the 70's disco era and he had us go "clubbin". I hated (and still do) disco music. We both had motorcycles in the early 80's and he brought his down to Virginia for a Blue Ridge Parkway ride. I have a photo of us in front of our house with our beloved bikes. I had a bear run out in front of me that trip. It came down the hill on the right, crossed the road in front of me about 10 yards away, then slid down the hill on the other side on its butt. That was a thrill for Michael!

A tribute to Michael - Part 1: I was a little boy in single digit years, the first time I met Michael. He was one of my older cousins and played a very important part in my life as a role model. Due to us living so far apart, I did not get to see him very often but to this day I still remember the times we spent together. One of those times, when I was a preteen, he took me for a ride (if you want to call it that) in his "Hot Rod" Chevelle SS. He placed a dollar bill on the dash in front of me and said, "if you can catch it before it hits the floor, it's yours". You would think that I should be able to grab it when he shifted but I watched it float right by me to the floor, while pinned to the seat back by the G force. Wow, was that a thrill!
