Judith "Judy" Ione Talmage

Judith "Judy" Ione Talmage, 86, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020. Judy was born September 29, 1933 in Alexandria to the late John & Margaret (Tomlinson) Bitner. She graduated from Alexandria High School in 1951. Judy married Clifford "Cliff" Talmage on December 23, 1961. She worked at Delco Remy then retired in 1990 from Elder Beerman having worked in sales. She enjoyed bowling, going to the casino, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family. If she wasn't with her family, she could be found next to her pool where she enjoyed the sun. Judy is survived by her children, Connie Whetsel, Karen Talmage, and Mark (wife, Shannon) Talmage; grandchildren, Jennifer Keith & Devan Talmage; three great grandchildren, Claire Romanoff, Cassey Bevelhimer, and Cameron Keith; sisters, Joan Inglis & Linda (husband, Marty) Warner; and granddog/snuggle buddy, Eli. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Cliff; and sister, Jane Gaither. Services will at 10 am Friday, September 11, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at Bronnenberg Cemetery. Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing. Vistiation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society
