Patsy Davis, 77, of Trenton, Texas entered eternal rest October 24, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Patsy was born August 28th, 1943 to Thelma and William Prater in Atoka, Oklahoma. Patsy had 2 children, Ricky and Tracy. She later married "Roy" Sonny Davis. Patsy has been a resident of Trenton, Texas for over 30 years. She devoted her life to being the matriarch and glue of her entire family. Her sacrifice and commitment to her children, grandchildren, and great children, cannot be overstated. After retiring from DLM company she opened a crafting and floral shop in Savoy, Texas where she took pride in her gift for making all things beautiful. Her interest also included gardening, reading, baking, and spending time with her family. Patsy is preceded in death by siblings, Elbert "Pete" Prater, Dovie Leeper, Roselin McGarrah, and Tommy Prater. She is survived by sisters Mary Thomison and Betty Saunders; Sons, Ricky Murphy and Tracy Hass; Grandchildren, Paul & Kerry Murphy; Harold, Priscilla, and Brandi Hass. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. She will be laid to rest next to her late husband Roy "Sonny" Davis at Leonard Cemetery in Leonard, Texas (500 W Hunt St), Leonard, Texas 75452). Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 30th at 2pm. All are welcome to come and pay their respects. Flowers may be sent to Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home at 601 S. Tennessee Street, Mckinney, Texas 75069 no later than Friday at 10am.
