George was one of the kindest, gentleness men we've ever met. Always a kind word. George loved dogs and spoiled ours completely when he cared for them when we were away. His generosity went far beyond helping others , his work and commitment to Red Cross was dear to his heart. I can only imagine how many people saved through his years for donating to Red Cross. He will be missed and know he's now sitting with his wife and joined with many pets he cared for. See you on the other side, George

George was a one of a kind! He had such a loving caring heart for all. I remember talking with him after donating blood about his wooden cars and trucks. I should have taken one when he offered but I told him to donate it to a lucky little boy. Red Cross donations won't be the same without his smiling face. You will be missed George.

This Godly man has entered into his rest. He had made his reservations a very long time ago. He was a true blessing to all who knew him. Thanks George for all the love.

I remember George serving cookies when I donated blood at the Marshall UMC and his sweet, good nature. Always had a smile for everyone and told me his wife's name was the same as mine. He was a wonderful gentleman.

George was such a fixture at the blood drives. He greeted everyone with a big smile and a kiss, chocolate of course. He will be missed.

I will miss George every time there's a blood drive he used to be at. He was always good for a hug & a story, and he was so generous to make those cookies for us. He made a point to give me one of his hand-made toy cars for my grandson, as he did for so many other kids. He had a very kind soul. Now he is reunited with his dear Phyllis. My deepest condolences to Gerri and all other of George's loved ones.
