I am very saddened to just learn of Sally’s passing after I touted her talent as a therapist and recommend her to a friend. Sally was a master at her craft and surely changed many lives, including mine. My now-husband and I came to her at a very pivotal time when we were at a crossroads in out relationship. Her words “is it good enough?” resonate with me to this day. It was and we now have 4 sons, 3 of whom were born after our treatment with her commenced and I give her credit for their existence. Sally will be sorely missed; she altered the course of so many lives with her wise and powerful counsel. May she rest in eternal peace. With love, Amanda

Finding Sally as a therapist was the best thing that happened to me in my 20s. She was an inspiring, fascinating, and endlessly kind person - I will always be grateful to her and think about her wisdom and guidance. She also had a close relationship with my dog, who I brought to every session. He looked forward to it each week as much as I did. I only wish I had written down more of the things she said over the years (pearls of wisdom, book and movie quotes, jokes, small observations). She was one of a kind and I will miss her.

Hope this message gets through to the right person - the tinyurl for the memorial service isn't working! I'd love to attend and you're very welcome to email me with the details if that's OK? Thanks!

Sally was my therapist for many years. I walked into her office in a real state at the age of 26 in 2002 - uncertain of my path and wanting a different life than I had without having any idea how to get there. With Sally's support and wisdom, with her toughness and love and humour, I remade my life, published my novels, found more satisfaction in my personal life and repaired difficult relationships. I miss her intensely but I am so grateful for the years of conversation that changed the course of my life.

I will fondly remember Sally, whom I first met as, "Sally with her cute little dog, Red Emma", in our building's elevator. She was a lovely lady and a fascinating individual.

As first cousins, we have had a lifetime of friendship, with emphasis on the last 50 years. She was always there for me; we could talk for hours. We even had a spa vacation at Thanksgiving one year in the late 90's in Utah. Who knew this city sophisticate would even sign up for hiking in the mountains? We both had a great time!
Her wisdom and love made a difference in my life. I miss her dearly.
