Mr. Michael Fedal Robinson Sr.

Mr. Michael Fedal Robinson Sr., 53 of Wyman street, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital from complications of the Corona Virus. Michael was born June 24, 1967 in Bridgeport, CT to Gloria Jean (Mayfield) Robinson of Waterbury and the late Mathew James Robinson. Mike was educated in the Waterbury public school system where he graduated from Crosby High School. Mike worked for various companies in the area where he could put his love of cooking to use. He took his love for cooking to another level by receiving a culinary degree. Michael loved to cook and would volunteer his time to various events in the Waterbury area. Not only did he cook, he was also a great baker known for his cheesecakes. In addition to cooking, his second love was painting. Mike Rob as he was known by everyone, was a painter for over 35 years. He prided himself on his work and would often showcase his projects on Facebook. Not only did he paint, he would teach the skill of painting to the youth who wanted to follow in his footsteps. Mike was also an avid fisherman. You may find him anywhere there was water and fish. He enjoyed fishing and always said that it was the most relaxing pastime. During the summer months, Mike worked as a flagger. His personality afforded him to meet so many great people while doing his job. For many years Mike worked at CMFH. He was full of pride when he put his badge on. You could find him shoveling snow, directing traffic or just aggravating all the staff and talking everyone's ears off. If anyone knew Mike, he had stories for days. Very colorful stories to say the least. Mike Rob was a walking comedian. He managed to have everyone laughing before your encounter with him was over. Laughing so hard that you cried. His thirst for card playing was like no other. Mike Rob was the definition of a card game. If there was a game going on, he was there. To know him, was to love him. His smile, sense of humor and personality will l be missed by all who knew him. Mike leaves to cherish his many memories, 3 sons; Michael Fedal Robinson Jr., Maalik Robinson, Michai Robinson all of Waterbury, one daughter; Zanaria Robinson also of Waterbury, six brothers; Mathew Robinson, Willie Robinson, Joseph Robinson, Ben "Belay" Omar, Mathew Robinson, Jermaine Robinson, three sisters; Bridget Robinson, Melissa Robinson, Trina Robinson, Ava Sproule, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a world of friends.
