Lorraine A. Plante

Lorraine A. Plante, 94, of Manchester, died January 27, 2021 after a brief illness. Born in Fitchburg, MA on April 30, 1926, she was the daughter of Adelard and Felexine (Metivier) Fontaine. Prior to retirement, she had been employed at Notre Dame Hospital and Dorsen Fletcher. Lorraine enjoyed Sunday picnics at Bear Brook State Park and Clough State park with her family. She was a longtime communicant of St. Marie Parish and had most recently been a parishioner at Sacred Heart Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Gaston A. Plante in 2002. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Florient Daigle in 1952, a son in-law Allen Kincaid. and 2 sisters Jeanne D'arc Fontaine and Lisette (Fontaine) Madore, both of Quebec Canada. She leaves behind 5 sons and 2 daughters. Michel Daigle and his wife Christianne, Richard Daigle and his wife Joanne, Francine (Daigle) Rivard and her husband Gilles, Pierre Daigle and his partner Suzanne Proulx, Jacques Plante and his wife Denise, Marise (Plante) Kincaid, Ronald Plante and his wife Andrea. 11 Grand-Children, Marcel Daigle, Daniel Daigle, Shawn Daigle, Kelly (Daigle) McCarthy, Kevin Daigle, Scott Daigle, Eric Rivard, Natalie (Rivard) Paris, Kimberly (Plante) Lacroix, Emma Plante and Mia Plante. 12 great-grandchildren. One sister Hugette Gouin of Black Lake, Quebec, Canada. Several nephews and nieces. Funeral services and burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery will be private at the family's convenience.
