Gerald "Jerry" L. Schultz

Gerald L. Schultz Jerry L. Schultz, age 76, of Rock Falls, died Thursday, February 18, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. Jerry was born April 13, 1944 in Sterling the son of Everett and Agnes (Green) Schultz. He married Ann Carlson on April 14, 1965 in Sterling. Jerry was employed at Illinois Forge for 36 years and later was the custodian at Newman Central Catholic High School. He enjoyed bowling and golfing and was a professional napper. He is survived by his wife, Ann Schultz of Rock Falls; four children, Sharon Benson of Woosung, Dave (Lisa) Schultz of Rock Falls, Don (Linea) Schultz of Little Rock, Ark. and Stephanie (Dale) Levan of Dixon; one brother, Dan (Jean) Schultz of Rock Falls; eight grandchildren, Hannah Schultz, Devin Schultz, Cody (Maranda) Benson, Brandi (Jason Lilly) Benson, Carlie Levan, Gracie Levan, Raygan Levan and Ava Levan; and five great grandchildren, Parker Lilly, Camden Lilly, Emmerson Benson, Savannah Benson and Addyson Benson; and one great granddaughter, Ella Lilly to be born in March. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob Schultz; and one son-in-law, Steve Benson. Visitation, for a maximum of 50 people at a time, will be Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. A private burial will be held at a later date.
