Gary Lee Davis

Gary Lee Davis passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 74. He was born on Wednesday, August 7, 1946 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Beatrice McDonald and the late Donald Davis. He was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. He was a farmer all of his life, and he often gave out of the goodness of his heart. Gary is survived by his wife, Carolyn Mashon Davis; children, Tammy Davis (Rodney), Shannan Davis Brown (Michael), and Robin Davis; grandchildren, Christina Rose Canale, Marley Nicole Lang, Abigail Lynn Brown, and Payton Rae Brown; great-grandson, Kashden Blake Lang; and sisters, Dorothy McHaney, Sylvia Giluso (Tommy), and Betty Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Davis; mother, Beatrice McDonald; grandson, Justin Blake Lang; and sister, Patsy Ann Davis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, March 27, 2021, 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Woodhaven Church of God Cemetery in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
