Jacob Daniel Carter

On Sunday, January 3,2021 Jacob Daniel Carter, loving son and father, passed away at age 24. He was born on Friday, January 3, 1997 in Indianapolis to Angela Virt and Andrew Carter, and attended Center Grove Schools. At an early age he found a love for music and carried that love his whole life. He was a creative and talented singer with a passion for music who wrote, recorded and performed many songs at local venues. Many of his songs can be heard on music apps under 9Livez., his stage name. His dream was to support his family with his music some day, a dream he was going to make a reality. He had great love for his family and friends, and loved hanging out with them, always trying to get a smile and a laugh. Jacob met the love of his life, Kaylee, in 2020. With open arms and all of his heart he became a father to her young boys: Lincoln Brooks and Myer Dugger, both of whom survive him.Jacob is also survived by his his mother: Angie Ross; stepdad: Chris Ross; father: Andrew Carter; fiancee: Kaylee Dugger, and their unborn daughter: Wednesday; brothers: Chase Ross, Bryer Carter, and Corey Ross; sister: Delaney Carter; grandparents: Arleen Vinson, Donna (Bill) Wildrick, Danny Carter, and Randy Breeden; as well as several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.He is preceded in death by his brother: Zander Carter; and grandfather: Pat Virt.Services for Jacob are private.
