Robert (Bob) Lorand Holsapple, age 89, of Cloverdale, left this world to be with his Heavenly Father on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020. He was born on November 9, 1931 to Robert D. Holsapple and Louise (Bender) Holsapple, who preceded him in death. He leaves behind his wife of 69 years: Wilhelimina (Sutherlin) Holsapple; brother: Steve (Kelly) Holsapple of Cloverdale; and four children: Susan (Randy) Nees of Cloverdale, Brien (Nancy) Holsapple of Roachdale; Troy (Tammy) Holsapple of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Scott (Polana) Holsapple; 12 grandchildren: Brad, Staci, Matt, Emmett, Emma, Bobby, Cammie, Chris, Reagan, Wyatt, and Mason; as well as 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.Bob retired from IBM in 1987. He was an avid woodworker, fisherman, and loved to mushroom hunt. He was a loving, kind-hearted man who would give to those in need. He will be greatly missed by his wife and family, but know he is with his Lord and Savior.He was also preceded in death by his sons: Robert Jeffrey, and Mike Holsapple.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.Arrangements have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis Chapel.
