Larry Veen

Larry A. Veen, age 71, of Holland, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Larry was a member of Overisel Christian Reformed Church. He was a very loving grandfather who was there to support his grandchildren in any activity they did. Larry enjoyed participating in car shows with his wife in their 1962 Corvette. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; Jerald and Katie (Klein) Veen; brother, Kenneth Veen; sister-in-law, Patricia Veen; and brother-in-law, Don Schrotenboer. He is survived by his wife, Karen Veen; children: Missy & Craig Jipping (Bryce, Alyssa, Brayden, Bryant), Ken & Gena Veen, Mike & Katie Veen (Brett, Kacie, Kami, Avery); brother, Dave Veen; in-laws, Shirley Schrotenboer, Ron & Karen De Young; and nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor Larry will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Overisel Christian Reformed Church. A time of visitation will be held Thursday, the night prior, from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland. Burial will take place in Overisel Cemetery.
