To Cara the McGuire Family,
On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS, I offer you our sincere condolences on Tom's passing. We grieve with you on the death of your loved one and our shipmate. The SUBVETS will have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Tom, who earned his 'fish' when he qualified in submarines, will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin and a great Patriot. BRAVO ZULU SHIPMATE!!

Dear Family:
I know your pain. But please be comforted and reassured by the fact that if he could come back to us, he wouldn't want to.
Mom was overjoyed when you came to visit her at my house. The years just melted away when she saw Betsy, Novella, and the two of you. She smiled and laughed long after you were gone. Tommy had the gift of laughter and will always be remembered for a wonderful sense of humor.

Carra Lee, Robin, My heart goes out to you for the tremendous loss that you
suffer. Tommy was so much more than a brother to me, he was my anchor, the rock that I leaned on. I ALWAYS knew that if I was ever in any kind of trouble, he would come. That gave me the confidence to do what ever I needed to do. He was that rock solid. I am telling you what you know! My anchor is gone and I feel adrift. I want to go back and clime Mount Fugi with him again. I pray that God will help you through your pain. RIP Tom!

As Toms former pastor I could always count on Tom to be willing to help in any ways. We had a lot of fun and memorable times together.
Praying for the Peace that only comes from God to be on Cara and the family. Knowing we will meet again.

I cherish the times we spent together while Bill and Tommy entertained us with their guitars so many years ago, I also cherish the visit you made to Colorado and the times we visited you in Charleston. What I especially love about Tommy is his strong devotion to his God, his wife and family. I am sure he will carry on his love in eternal life and I will always remember him with love.
