Mary T. Dugan

Mary T. Dugan, age 92, of West Dennis formerly of Stoneham, died Thursday, March 3 at Windrose at Woburn Assisted Living. Born in Somerville on May 10, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Helen (O'Leary) Hart. Mary was raised in Somerville. She worked for Boston Edison where she met her husband and the two spent the beginning of their married life in Winchester before moving to Stoneham to raise their family. Mary enjoyed staying home to raise her boys for many years before returning to the workforce part-time. Following the passing of her husband, Mary settled in West Dennis to enjoy her retirement years. Her favorite way to spend time was with her family. She was the beloved wife of the late John F. Dugan. She was the loving mother of Jack Dugan and his wife Deborah of Dublin, NH, Peter Dugan and his wife Barbara of Marlboro, James Dugan and his wife Maureen of Woburn, and the late Michael and Kevin Dugan. She was the sister of William Hart and his wife Cathy of Fairfield, CT and the late Helen MacLean and Cornelius Hart. She was the sister-in-law of Ann Dugan of Sudbury formerly of Somerville. She was the cherished "Nana" of Kerry Bachynski and husband Scott, and Michael, Kevin, Sean and Matthew Dugan. She was the great grandmother to Brynn Bachynski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Monday, March 7 at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham prior to the funeral mass from 8:30-9:30am.
