Thank you Lori for taking such great care of Kip for so many years during and after the Navy! I only wish I had gotten to know you better in my short time at Wren High School. May His peace be upon you and the Bailey & Talley families.

My heart breaks for the loving family Lori was so blessed to have. Haven't seen her in years, but thought of her often. Prayers especially for my Aunt Gladys, I know her heart is broken. My love, hugs and prayers are with each of you at this sad time. Rest in Sweet Lori.

Lori was a sweet friend of mine. I am so sad to lose her so early, but am thankful to know without a doubt in my mind that she is with her Savior Jesus Christ. I appreciate the kind of friend that she was. No matter the time that had passed, we always picked up right where we left off. I loved the times that we laughed, prayed, cried, and laughed some more.
My mom was friends with Lori first as we all lived in Chesapeake, VA and attended the same church. However, when I moved to SC in 2000, the Bailey family was one of the first ones that I looked up to get in touch with--Gosh, I am glad I made that call. Lori became my friend immediately it seems--she wasn't just my mom's friend anymore. It was nice to spend time with the Bailey family when mine was back in VA and they always welcomed me--as well as fed me--Lori was an amazing cook. I have several of her recipes that I use now to prove that--just ask my husband David:)
Kip, Hannah, Will, Ben, and Dan you were so precious to her. I am so sorry that she is not with each of you any longer and my heart breaks for that alone--but what a JOY to have had her in your lives for the time that you had--what a blessing. My family will be lifting all of you up in prayer as you continue to journey through this life without her.

Lori was a sweet friend that I adored so much. We were always able "to pick up right where we left off" each time we saw each other. We prayed, cried, and laughed a lot. She had great love for her family and for Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. I am glad she is in heaven with Him now and smiling down on us.

Lori and her family were a constant inspiration to our family as we attended the same church in Chesapeake many years ago. Along with several other ladies we created our own home school co-op. Our children were young and got along so well. Lori's sweet and gentle way while teaching will always remain a fond memory in my children's and my life. She was an excellent friend and sister in Christ. I cherish the memories made possible by this godly woman.
