Thomas G. Graff

Thomas G. Graff, 52, of Chadwick, died on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at his home. Tom was born on August 19, 1969 in Sterling, the son of James and Rita (McCue) Graff. He married Shelly Trotter on June 10, 1995 in Milledgeville. Tom was employed at Northwestern Steel & Wire from 1990 until its closing. He was employed with the Local 727 since 2001. Tom was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He will be remembered as a devoted family man. Survivors include his wife Shelly; two daughters, Shannon and Jade Graff, all of Chadwick; one sister, Ann (Jeff) Gutherie; three brothers, Jamie (Amy) Graff, all of Sterling, Bill (Suzanne) Graff of Belvidere, and Dan Graff of Sterling; one aunt, Sister William McCue of Clinton, IA; and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rita Graff; and one aunt, Jean McCue. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral service will follow at 9:30am on Thursday, April 7, 2022 with Reverend Rick Koch officiating. Cremation rites will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
