Adam Walter Dupré

Adam Walter Dupré, 33, was discovered deceased on February 2, 2020, at his residence in New York City. Adam was unable to continue the fight against his overwhelming demons, both physical and emotional, that had plagued his life in the last year and finally found peace. Adam was born on April 14, 1986, in Rhode Island and grew up in Coventry, RI, graduating from Coventry High School in 2004. After high school, Adam relocated to Massachusetts to pursue his career. While living In North Andover and Cambridge, MA he excelled as a graphic designer and artist, working at Converse and other companies until he returned to Providence, RI, where he continued his career before settling in New York City. Adam mastered his passions and talent in New York City. During his years there, he worked as a creative director for NFL Corporate, produced unquantified amounts of personal and professional works of art, clothing, photography, print media and other visionary content for himself and others as a freelancer. At the time of his passing, he was a creative content producer for Primitive Ventures. It is an understatement to say that Adam was an extraordinary innovator and creator. His unique perspective, innate ability to foresee trends and opportunities, and his unparalleled talent inspired all who were fortunate to know him or experience his work. Adam loved travelling the world and visited places many only dream of, such as Shanghai, Abu Dhabi, Milan, and numerous more locations. He was particularly fond of China and Greece but found joy in all of his various travel adventures. One of Adam's greatest passions was Formula 1 racing and all of its aspects. He attended numerous Formula 1 events across the globe and became friendly with many in the F1 community. Adam was an avid cyclist, skier, and skater, both on ice and pavement. He built several custom street bicycles and when he was home in NYC, he was known to regularly ride his bike or rollerblade, and shared his sense of humor by naming his rides with titles such as "Don't Hit the Small Children", "Mid-Week Techno" and "Puke." Adam lived his life with no apologies and took advantage of every opportunity to expand his knowledge and experience different ideas, events, and ways of thinking. If opportunities were not readily available or apparent, Adam found a way to create them. Adam lived his life to the fullest and on his own terms. And when Adam genuinely loved you, his love was limitless, fully realized, and known to all. Such was his love for those left heartbroken for no longer having his presence a continuous part of their lives. His mother, Christine Dupré-Sipka and Stepdad, Ron Sipka; his beloved younger brother, Lucas Sipka; all originally from Rhode Island and now residing in Mooresville, NC. He is also survived and desperately missed by his grandparents, Donald and Carol (Burtt) Dupré; his aunt and Godmother, Jennifer Olson and her husband and children, Tim, Chloe and Fallyn; his Godfather, Leo Fontaine and his family; and his dearest friends; Derek Goff, Bryant Moscote, Cory Cordeiro, and many more. He is also survived by his great grandmother, Jaynne Diehl; and his stepbrothers, Matthew and Cameron Sipka – who he never thought of as anything but his true brothers. Adam was preceded in death by his cherished great grandmother, Lillian Burtt (Rockwell); great grandparents, Walter and Doris Dupré; his childhood hero and great uncle, Norman Rockwell, and many other extended family members who enjoyed watching Adam grow up. Due to restrictions over the past two years; and in accordance with Adam's wishes, no funeral was held. Greenwich Village Funeral Home provided final arrangements with exceptional caring and respect, and continue to support the family with kindness and superior professionalism as needs arise. Events to remember, celebrate, and honor Adam are scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 6:30 – 10:00 pm at 110 Troutman St., Brooklyn, NY 11206, and for Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 22 East Scenic View Dr., Johnston, RI 02919 beginning at 3:00 pm. All are invited to stop by or stay awhile and share stories and inspirations, at either event. In true Adam fashion, and per his wishes, these events are intended to be joyous parties to share memories and love for Adam. The purpose of the Estate is to continue to maintain Adam's legacy, intellectual property and creative content with the goal of creating a space to support similar artists, promote and distribute Adam's celebrated content, and support suicide prevention and suicide survivor groups.
