William Edward Lodge

William Edward Lodge passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 83. He was born on Wednesday, January 18, 1939 in Oak Park, Illinois to the late Helen McIsaac Lodge and the late Edward Lodge. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana since 1970. William Served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany, where he worked in communications. He was also a parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond, also since 1970. William is survived by his wife of 53 years, DeLilia Schnieder Lodge; his son and daughter-in-law, James Bernard Lodge and Mei Su; his grandchildren and the highlight of his life, Melanie Mei Lodge and William Su Lodge; his brother, Rev. John Gerald Lodge; and his cousin, Sr. Mary Margaret Smith, OP. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lodge; and his mother, Helen McIsaac Lodge. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM until the memorial service begins at 10:00 AM.
