Mr. Robert H. Haller

Robert Haller was born on March 10, 1947 in Elizabeth, NJ. He passed away peacefully at home in Cranford, NJ, on September 9, 2022. He was the son of Harry and Florence Haller. After living his early years with his family in Kenilworth, he was raised in Roselle Park and graduated from Roselle Park High School in 1965. Bob attended and graduated from Newark College of Engineering (NJIT) and has worked for the engineering firm of Mott MacDonald for more than 50 years. Bob loved his family very much! He was a devoted and loving father to his daughter, Sylvia and to his son-in-law, Jon and was especially devoted to his granddaughter, Leanna. He is also survived by his dear and loving partner of more than 30 years, Karin Ryan, and her children Kathy Kuipers and her husband Ben, and their daughter Marina, along with Karin's son Matt Ryan. Bob is survived by his four loving siblings - sisters, Janet Keller, Ruth Haller Gombas, and Margaret Snyder and his brother John Haller along with their many children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Although too many to name, all love and will miss him very much. Bob truly loved the beach and spent many happy summers on the beautiful beaches at Lavallette, NJ with his family and friends.
