FINNEGAN, Rose Marie (Eldracher), 85, of Westwood, MA, died peacefully on September 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boston, the daughter of John and Mable (Maguire) Eldracher, grew up in Jamaica Plain, and raised her family in Westwood, MA. She leaves four loving and grateful children: Terry Finnegan-Lynch of Cumberland, RI, Lynn (and husband John) Judge of Needham, MA, Neal Jr (and wife Lourdes) of Bedford, MA, and Wayne (and partner Jackie Howland Richardson) of Winchester, MA. She is survived by her sister Patty Sanford of Cookson, OK, and brother Tommy Eldracher of Natick, MA. Her 11 grandchildren will forever miss her: Michael (and wife Elizabeth) Lynch of Dover, MA, Brian (and wife Maryellen) Lynch of Hopkinton, MA, Allison (and husband Mike) Pedi of Chicago, IL, John Parker (and wife Caroline) Judge and William Judge (predeceased); Olivia, Henry, Owen, and Cameron Finnegan; Ana and Neal Francis Finnegan: along with her eight great-grandchildren: Grace, Maggie, Jack, and Bowden Lynch; James and Eleanor-Rose Pedi; and Esme and Everly Lynch. Rose had a remarkable life of dedication to her family and devotion to her faith. Amazingly, she led over 50 pilgrimages to Medjugorje over 25 years in service to the Blessed Mother. As a member of the Medjugorje Messengers, she helped create Betania II, a spectacular spiritual retreat house in Medway. Her life is a celebration of God's Love. Our family would like to extend our deep appreciation and gratitude to all those (in particular at White Oak Cottage and Embrace Care) who assisted our mother while she lived with dementia in the final years of her life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation in St. Margaret Mary's Church, 845 High St., Westwood, on Saturday, September 17, from 9:30 to 11:00 am. A Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary's Church at 11 am. Following the Mass interment will be at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose's memory to Betania II at https://betaniaii.org/donate

Rose impacted our Spiritual life as Catholics, as a couple, in a long lasting profound way. Her love for God, her family was a shining example what brings beauty and happiness to this poor world of ours. May she rest in the Light of heaven and may the Angels escort her to the Throne of God. We miss dear Rose. Our deepest condolences to her beautiful family who she loved beyond measure. Chuck & I were privileged to call her friend. Sadly we are in Florida & won't be able to attend her celebration. Love to all, Janeen & Chuck

Dear family,
What a wonderful woman of faith your mother was.
I had the pleasure of being with her on pilgrimages to Medjugorje and at events surrounding Medjugorje Messengers and Betania II.
What a blessing she was.
I am presently out of state and sadly will not be back in time for the funeral.
However , know I will offer Mass
For her and remember all the family in this time do loss.
May the Lord bless these days with much joy and peace for you all .

Although it has been many years since Rose & I have seen each other, I have fond memories of our friendship in the 1960/70s. We met when she lived in Plainville and continued our friendship when she moved. Rose was warm, generous, fun to be with and a loving, caring mother. From reading her obituary, she continued that spirit throughout her life. May she rest in peace.

Our very deepest sympathies for Aunt Rose. I have such wonderful memories of Aunt Rose when I was a kid visiting my cousins in Westwood or at Lake Winnipesaukee, and her dedication to her family and her amazing work with the Medjugorje Messengers are inspiring. We have Rose in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Rich, Sheila, Shannon, Liam, Riley and Kate Finnegan
