Gary R Gruehl Sr

GARY R GRUEHL SR, age 80 passed away October 7, 2022. Beloved husband of Judy (nee Dietrich) for 50 years. Loving father of Gary Jr, George (deceased), Chris Rosinski (Ken) and Connie Ellrich (Scott). Devoted grandfather of Matt (Stephanie), Gregg (Ashley), Meghan (Chris), Hannah, Gunner, and Haley; great-grandfather of Granger and Cameron. Beloved son of the late George and Clarene Gruehl. A lifetime resident of Cleveland Heights, Gary was a 1959 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. He was a plant manager at TRW and also Trelleborg Rubber. Gary later joined his mother, Clarene Gruehl, as a real estate broker. For many years, he coached youth hockey for the City of Cleveland Heights and is a member of the Cleveland Heights Hockey Hall of Fame. A lover of fast boats, fast cars, and joke telling, Papa will be missed dearly by his family. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 21 from 5:00-7:00pm at MAHER-MELBOURNE FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD RD, LYNDHURST (E OF RICHMOND RD).
