Christopher Ellis Stockman

Christopher Ellis Stockman, 35, passed away far too soon on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Born on August 30, 1989, in York, Maine, he was the beloved son of Sandra Stockman.

If you ask anyone about Chris, they'd tell you he was a wild child with a heart of gold. He spent a lot of time outdoors whether it was camping, whitewater rafting, skiing, racing 4-wheelers round and round, or playing baseball. He was quite talented on the diamond, even being part of an all-star team when he was younger. He also greatly enjoyed both basketball and hockey; especially the long winter days spent playing ice hockey in the backyard.

Christopher's favorite thing to do in his free time, however, was drive his cars. He was obsessed with cars, especially his BMW and you could catch his racing, drifting, and making donuts in empty parking lots. His true love though, was his family. His mother, siblings, and of course the loves of his life, his two children Gavin David and Avianna May, and his beloved mother Sandra, who always referred to Chris as her Sun, because he was truly the light of her life.

Christopher is predeceased by his baby brother Jesse and his grandfather Michael Stockman.

Christopher is survived by his children Gavin David and Avianna May and their mother Shannnon; his mother Sandra Stockman; his brother Seth; his sisters Chelsea Leeane, Michelle Lynn, and Emily Danielle; as well as numerous other dear family members and close friends.

The world is not going to be the same without the light Christopher brought to this world and everyone in it. He left us far too soon and he will be greatly missed by all those who had the great fortune of being a part of his life.

Christopher is in the care of Grondin Funeral Home. There will be a time of visitation Thursday September 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Grondin Funeral Home-177 N Main St. Rochester, NH 03867.
