Vincent A. Salerno, 20, of New Castle, died January 30, 2026.
Born December 29, 2005, in Sarasota, Florida, to Michael Rocco Salerno and Katrina Long, Vincent was a 2025 graduate of New Castle High School and was employed at Culver's Restaurant.
In addition to his parents, Vincent is survived by his sister, Kristina R. Salerno; his maternal grandparents, John and Beth Long, and a special niece, Arabella Armstrong.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ashley Salerno Armstrong, and his paternal grandparents, Joan and Vincent Salerno.

Sorry to hear of this young man´s passing, but my wife and I had spoken with him at Culver´s recently and he just carried on the neatest conversation with us . So sad to soon. Our Prayers and thoughts are with Vincent´s loved ones and friends.

I met Vinnie when his mom worked with me at Sarasota Transportation in Osprey. He was an amazing child so patient so kind and so lovable. We spent a lot of time together and he will carry a place in my heart forever. May God hold you in his loving hands, may you rest in Peace... Even though his Mom and I live many miles apart, I often asked about Vincent. He will be missed...
