Larry Adkins Obituary
Larry Adkins, 82, of New Castle, died April 13, 2026.
He was born on July 26, 1943, in New Castle to Malchom and Anna Laura (Dicken) Adkins.
Larry was a 1961 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Adkins; son, Kent (Stacy) Adkins; stepson, Bobby (Wendy) Herron of Yorktown; a grandson, Landon (Meggan) Adkins; siblings, Patty Vogel, Gerald Adkins, and Sue Kay (Sam) Taylor.
Larry was preceded in death by a son, Kelly Adkins, and brother, Bob Adkins.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Sproles Family Funeral Home. Condolences at www.sprolesfamilycares.com.

Larry was kind to me as an uprooted 7 year old moving to a strange neighborhood. In later life he was always friendly and I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him.
