Dear Bauman Family,
You all are still in everyone's thoughts and prayers. My daughter thinks of Logan often, they had been friends since 5th at NE. She made a memorial bracelet in the Packers colors in honor of him, it hasn't left her wrist. The calendar in her room says "Miss you". I don't know if you've been on some of his friends Facebook pages, they all still honor him. He definately was a loved boy and touched everyone that knew him. I wanted to let your family know you all have touched many of us in the community. Stay strong.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

Dear Bauman Family,
My name is Erin Douglas, I believe Alyse knows me from Norheast. I am now an 8th grader and We live diagonally across the street from you next door to the Goodmans. Your son and brother Logan touched so many lives everyday at school. I remember going to the bus stop in the winter and we (my friends Taylor and Trinity) would wait to see if he was going to ride the bus. He was so fun to talk to and he could always make us smile. I want your family to know that he will be so missed at our school and in our lives, I believe nobody else could have had such and impact on the school other than Logan. He is forever in our hearts.<3

Dear Bauman Family,
We are your neighbors across Lakeview, in the big gray house. We were in church yesterday at Crossroads Community and sevral teenagers got baptized during service. Each one mentioned Logan, what good friends they were, how much the missed him, and how in the months since his passing they had been inspired to deepen their walk and faith in God and chose to be baptized in front of the church that day. Just wanted you to know that and that we are always thinking about you guys and praying for you still.

I was visiting Shauna's family that lives in Stroh Ranch yesterday when Austin came downstairs telling me that a boy that used to live across the street from us had passed from a car accident. Apparently my niece went to school with Logan. I'm so sorry that I'm just now finding this out. Knowing your family was the highlight of being your neighbor. Your such good people and Logan was such a precious little boy. Andy, the loving example you set as his father was second to none. I remember you playing catch with Logan in your front yard and thinking to myself...wow what a lucky boy. My heart breaks for all of you. I'll pray for you all that God will continue to hold you in his hands.

o my goodness life has been so hard without logan and we want your family to know that the town of parker will always be here for your family!!! logan is missed very deeply and school just seems so different without him!! as you can tell you son and brother made a huge difference in many peoples lives. even the people who didnt know him. thank you for this blessing of having a wonderful friend. im so glad i got to know him! i will miss him very deeply

I played on Logans soccer team when we were 5 I think it was. He also rode my bus last year. I never once heard of Logan getting angry, or anyone getting angry at him, he was a nice kid. He will be missed a bunch.

Even though I've never met Logan or his family, I've been inspired by the all the stories shared. Since I learned of this accident, my prayers and thoughts have been with everyone involved. No one ever understands why such a young person can be taken away so fast, but what a wonderful story and inspiration this child leaves behind! During the tears and pain, try to imagine the huge smile of accomplishment on the Lord's face when Logan met him in person for the first time :)

My heart truly broke for you when I heard the devastating news. No...!!! I know the devastation and despair of which you now exist. We know the dark Journey which lies before you. Please know, from the depths of our hearts, we feel for you. We live day to day, some times minute to minute, trying to bear this burden that our Precious son, Jesse, is now living in paradise with our Lord and Saviour. Our hearts go out to you. We were blessed in so many ways, with people in our lives at that crucial turning point in our lives and if we can be of any help to you at all, it would truly be our honor. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, most assuredly, and that you can call on us for anything. As you've had the time you need, there may come a time when you might like to sit and fellowship and cry together, we would surely like to be able to do that for you as was done for us.
