Frederick Kelley

FREDERICK R. KELLEY Age 92, passed away April 22, 2006 in Tujunga , California. He was born December 10, 1913 in Hamilton Ontario, Wentworth County, Canada to Frederick J. and Kittie Kelley. He married Helen (Bishop) in 1957. Helen passed away in 1992 after 35 yrs. of marriage. He married Mildred (Baucom) on February 14, 1993. Fred moved from Canada with his folks in the late 1920's to the Glendale area. His folks had a restaurant on Brand Blvd. called "Kelley's Sandwich Shop" where Fred also worked as a young man. He also worked at Lockheed Aircraft during WWII. Fre d played the drums in a band to earn extra money and loved every minute of it. He met wife, Helen, at an Elks dance. He also had his own shop in Eaglerock called "Kelley's Watch & Clock Repair". He enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling and attending the Unity Church in Glendale where he met and married Mildred; and one of his very favorite pass-time was to hunt for and recycle aluminum cans! He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Mildred; step-son, Ed Bishop of Bellevue, Washington; step-daughter s, Margo Brown of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Patty Bible of Burbank, California; step-grandkids, Beth, Roy, Katherine, Michelle, Nicole & Dena; step-great grandkids, Helen Christine, Josie, Sam, Stevie & Michael. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 29th, 2006 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, in the Church of the Hills.
