I work with Reg's brother Darwin. Although I didn't know Reg in person, Darwin's stories made me feel as if I did. I offer my thoughts and prayers to help ease the weight of your loss. Although his place in this world can never be filled, his place in our hearts can never be emptied. May time ease your pain until only the love remains.

I had the great pleasure of serving on Project Women's Board with Reg. I never saw him without a smile on his face, and he was such a pleasure to work with. May God comfort you during this most difficult time.

Dear wonderful friend Mary Elva: Frank and I were both so shocked and sad to hear about Reg's death. What a huge, huge loss in your's and Cindie's lives as well as in the lives of so many of us who knew and loved him.
I will always have fond memories of your years here in Tampa when you, Reg and Cindie lived on the boat and you came back and forth to shore on the dingy (sp-?)that Reg built...and, how shakey it appeared to me but how proud Reg was that he made it! Those were such fun days and those of us at Palma Ceia Presbyterian were in awe of the spirit of adventure you all had.
Reg was so consistently upbeat and happy, had such a great sense of humor and was so caring. He was a very special man and we will miss him greatly.
Please know you are in our prayers and that I will be up for a visit in the future. With love and sadness, K.K. and Frank

We are so sad to have lost such a good friend in Reg. Others have so eloquently captured the spirit of him and his many interests. We will always remember the wonderful meals we were fortunate to share with Reg and Mary Elva. It was such a pleasure to watch him work his magic in the kitchen. With love to ME, Cindy and the rest of Reg's family.

My sincere sympathy, Mary Elva, in the tragic loss of Reg. It seems just like just yesterday that the two of you were here in Tampa, visiting PCPC, wearing big smiles and telling us how great life was treating you. I pray that time will heal your pain to where your memories of those good times will bring back your smile when you think of Reg.

Reggie was an amazing man. His life was an inspiration to me. He did not sit home and dream of adventures—he took risks and made his dreams happen. Reggie showed us all what’s possible if you just set out to do the things that you care about the most. I’m proud to have known him. I’m lucky to have had him as a friend. This is a heartfelt thank you to Reggie, for sharing himself and his passions with us, for living his life to the fullest, and showing us that we can do the same. We’ll miss him, and we’ll be better people for having known him. My thoughts are with his family.
