"Today, on my way to work, Charlie Monk played If You Love Me on Willies Roadhouse and my heart skipped a beat. As soon as I heard Billie Jo, I was transported back to a special time in my life. As a young girl in the early to mid 70s, Billie Jo was a dear friend to my family. My father, Duke Snow was a local C&W entertainer in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They met Billie Jo and the band when she was performing at one of the local venues. Billie Jo was a guest at our house on several occasions when she visited the Philly area and for many years, they stayed in touch. My mother even went on the tour bus and stayed with Billie Jo at her home! I remember a kind, funny, generous, humble lady with a dynamic voice and spectacular stage presence. I cried when I heard of this lovely ladys passing. Although belated, I send my condolences to you and I am truly sad for your loss. I am hopeful she and my dad who passed in September have reunited in heaven and are making beautiful music together with the angels. "
