U.S. Army Memorial Site: Notable Deaths & Obituaries

Emerging out of a fighting force George Washington led during the Revolutionary War, the U.S. Army has roots that extend back beyond the existence of the country itself. With more than a million people on active or reserve duty, the U.S. military's oldest branch remains one of the largest and proudest fighting forces in the world.
