Guest Book Highlights

May 12, 2017 "Dear Alice, I just heard about dear Tom's passing. What a very sad loss for you, your families, friends, and the world. Scott and I will always remember him so fondly as a dear neighbor and friend.
Our deepest sympathy and live,
Laurie" - Laurie & Scott McCord (Lancaster, VA)
December 22, 2016 "I took Professor Schelling's course Economic Principles & Public Policy in 1980 when I was working on my MPA at the Kennedy School of Government. I have great admiration and respect for this outstanding educator whose teachings are still so meaningful to me to this day." - Carol Thorn (Arlington, VA)
December 20, 2016 "I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Schelling. May your hearts be filled with all the preciousness moments spent together and may the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time." - (NY)
December 18, 2016 "Tom Schelling was my dissertation advisor in the early 80s at Harvard. One day while waiting to talk with him, I asked his secretary why she kept answering the telephone,"Mr Schelling's office," rather than "Dr Schelling's office." She looked at me, smiled and said, "Because Tom believes 'Mister' is the higher title. I will always have deep respect and affection for Mr Tom Schelling." - Ken Feldman (Colorado Springs, CO)
December 18, 2016 "I knew Tom Schelling in the early 1940s in Berkeley when his sister Nancy lived at the same rooming house we did and he visited her frequently. The two of them inspired me to take on a major in Econ at Cal Berkeley and eventually to become a Foreign Service Officer. We never met again after those years, but I will always see Tom and Nancy as my leaders. My most heartfelt sympathy goes to Tom's entire family. The world has lost a great man at a time of great need for his brilliance." - Richad Matheron (Escondido, CA)
