William C. "Bill" Bigos Sr. Obituary

William C. Bigos, Sr., age 92, of Raynham, MA, formerly of Tiverton, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Helen T. (Craven) Bigos. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Anna Bigos. Mr. Bigos served for 10 years in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Before his retirement, he was employed as a pipe fitter/fireman in Boston. Mr. Bigos was a member of Disabled American Veterans and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his three children, William Bigos, Jr. of Boston, Paul Bigos & wife Caroline of Raynham and Elaine Bigos & fiancé Dwayne Davis of Fall River; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Foley of Tiverton and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Thomas Bigos and brother of Henry Watson. Mr. Bigos' funeral will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 9:00AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM in St. John's Chrysostom Parish, 4750 Washington Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
