Baseball Legend

Kaline played all 22 seasons of his major league career with the Tigers, retiring in 1974. He hit 399 home runs, had a career batting average of .297 and joined the 3,000 hit club. He was an 18-time all-star and helped the Tigers win the 1968 World Series. He was also a top defensive player who had a rocket for an arm.

Broadcaster

After his playing career ended, Kaline became an analyst for the Detroit Tigers television team. He held that position from 1976 until 2001 when he went to work in the Tigers front office.
