Alec Musser’s legacy
Before he began his acting career, Musser worked as a model, notably appearing on billboards and shopping bags for Abercrombie & Fitch. He continued to model in magazines and for products like Speedo before getting his big break.
In 2005, Musser competed in the second season of the SOAPnet reality show “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.” He won, and the victory landed him a role as Del Henry on “All My Children.” The second actor to play Del, Musser initially signed a 13-week contract, but it was extended, and he appeared on 43 episodes through 2007. Later, he had a five-episode arc on “Rita Rocks” and played a massage therapist on “Desperate Housewives.”
Musser also had a brief but memorable role in the movie “Grown Ups,” playing a character credited simply as “Water Park Stud.” His silly, high-pitched voice and Canadian accent contrasted with his muscular appearance.
