Caleb Swanigan (1997–2022), former Purdue basketball star

Caleb Swanigan was a star power forward for the Purdue University men’s basketball team and was Indiana’s Mr. Basketball as a senior in high school.

Caleb Swanigan was a star basketball player at Homestead High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was Indiana’s Mr. Basketball and a McDonald’s All-American his senior year of high school. He played college basketball at Purdue where he had a standout career. He was an All-American his sophomore year at Purdue and then declared for the NBA draft. He was drafted in the first round of the 2017 NBA draft by the Portland Trailblazers. He played three seasons in the NBA from 2017 until 202 for Portland and Sacramento.
