Acting career
Simon joined the cast of “Stargate: SG-1” in its fifth season in 2001, and his character became so popular that he remained through the show’s 10th and final season, becoming its longest-running villain. In 2008, Simon returned as Ba’al in the movie “Stargate: Continuum.” His other roles include guest appearances on “Nash Bridges,” “24,” “The Americans,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” and “Castle.” Simon’s most recent project was hosting the 2020 series “Into the Unknown,” exploring myths and urban legends.
