Thompson was an “ER” cast member for the show’s entire 15-season run from 1994 to 2009, appearing in close to 200 episodes including the pilot and the series finale. His character, Malik McGrath, was an LPN who was friendly with other hospital staffers. Thompson also appeared in movies including “Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion,” “CB4,” and “Cool as Ice.” As a rapper, he released Christian-focused albums including “Delayed, but not Denied” and “Living Up in a Down World.”
