Dede Robertson (1927–2022), wife of televangelist Pat Robertson

Dede Robertson was the beloved wife of popular televangelist Pat Robertson and a founding board member of the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Adelia “Dede” Robertson graduated from Ohio State University, and was a fashion model and a beauty queen in the Miss Ohio State contest. She received a master’s in nursing at Yale University where she met Pat Roberston, a student at Yale law school. They were married in 1954. She was a founding board member of The Christian Broadcasting Network, Regent University, and Operation Blessing. She traveled globally to help deliver humanitarian aid and was an interior decorator who worked on the decoration of the Regent University Theater. She is survived by her husband, their four children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
