Acting career
“Wings” was Forke’s first major role; she starred in seasons four through six as a U.S. Army veteran who had flown Apache helicopters in Desert Storm and was running a helicopter tour business in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Her character became the love interest of Brian Hackett, played by Steven Weber. Forke went on to a recurring role on “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” as Mayson Drake, as well as starring in the single-season sitcoms “Dweebs” and “Mr. Rhodes.” She voiced the superhero Big Barda in the animated series “Batman Beyond” and “Justice League Unlimited.” Forke also made TV appearances in “Ned and Stacey” and “Party of Five” as well as appearing in movies including “Disclosure,” “Ground Control,” and “Hitman’s Run.”
