Brown’s parents, Janelle and Kody Brown, were the stars of the TLC reality show “Sister Wives,” which chronicles the lives of their polygamist family. The fourth of six siblings, Brown was still a child when he first appeared on the show during its 2010 debut. During the show’s run, he developed an interest in joining the military and eventually signed up for the National Guard.
As rifts formed between Kody and his children, Brown moved out, relocating to Flagstaff, Arizona. Kody and Janelle split in 2022. Prior to his death, Brown had adopted a nine-year-old cat, saving her from euthanasia.
