Quarterback sack legend
Kevin Greene was a ferocious pass rusher who has the third most quarterback sacks in NFL history. Only Bruce Smith and Reggie White finished with more than Greene’s 160 sacks. He was a five-time Pro Bowl player and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. He played most of his career for the Los Angeles Rams and the Pittsburgh Steelers, appearing in Super Bowl XXX with Pittsburgh in the 1995 season. Greene also had stints with Carolina and the 49ers. After retiring as a player, he coached for the New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers.
Greene on his pass rush success
“I wasn’t the biggest (and) I wasn’t fastest,” Greene once said. “But as long as you have a motor, you have heart … that will overcome any physical limitations.” —According to ESPN
