Marine Corps Osprey Crash (2023)

Three U.S. Marines were killed on Sunday, August 27, 2023, when a Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey aircraft crashed on Melville Island, Australia. Several others were critically injured. 

Twenty-three Marines were aboard the aircraft, participating in an international training mission. 

Here are the names of the Marines who died:

Corporal Spencer R. Collart, 21.

Captain Eleanor V. LeBeau, 29.

Major Tobin J. Lewis, 37.
