Miguel Mena was a regular jockey at the historic Chuchill Downs in Kentucky since 2006. He won 16 stakes races at that track and won 451 races there overall, ranking him at number 15 all-time. He won the Stephen Foster Stakes at Churchill Downs last year and won the Ohio Derby in June aboard Masqueparade. The Peruvian born jockey won 49 races this year, earning almost 3 million dollars. He raced as recently as Saturday at Keeneland race track in Kentucky.
