Song Jae-lim was a South Korean model-turned-actor best known for his work on reality show “We Got Married” and the TV drama “Moon Embracing the Sun.” 

Song Jae-lim’s legacy 

Song began his career in the spotlight as a runway model, he but broke into wider fame as an actor. After his debut in the 2009 film “Actress,” he won attention in 2012 for the dramatic TV show “Moon Embracing the Sun,” appearing in 20 episodes, and a ruthless killer in 2013’s “Two Weeks,” establishing himself as a bona fide on-screen talent. 

He won wider fandom when he appeared in the fourth season of reality show “We Got Married” a year later. Other notable series featuring Song include “Our Gap-soon,” “Secret Mother,” “Unkind Ladies,” “I Wanna Hear Your Song,” and “All That We Loved.” He is slated to appear in the upcoming films “Get Rich,” which is in post-production, and the completed “Death Business.” 

Song was found dead at his home in Seoul, Korea. Police reported no evidence of foul play. A note was found at the scene, but as of this writing, there is no official cause of death.
