At least eight people have died after a car drove into a group of people outside the Bishop Enrique San Pedro Ozanam Center, a homeless shelter in Brownsville, Texas, on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Several others were severely injured.
Migrants often stay at the shelter, located in a town on the Mexican border, and several were among those who died.
