April Dunn was a member of Louisiana governor John Bel Edwards’ staff, serving in the Office of Disability Affairs. She was also the chair of the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Dunn was honored with the Champions of Equal Opportunity Award by the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities in 2019.
