Burl “Jack” Bandy was a carpet industry pioneer who cofounded Coronet Industries. A philanthropist who established the Bandy Chair in Preaching at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, he was also the grandfather of Dalton city councilwoman Annalee Harlan.
