Charlie Burrell was a U.S. Army veteran who later worked as a broadcast operations supervisor with KCTS, Seattle’s PBS station. A sports fan, he worked at two Olympic Games. Burrell was a music lover with a large collection of records, CDs and tapes, who especially loved gospel and soul.
