Pete Erickson and his wife moved from Washington state to Alaska in the mid-1960s. He was drawn to Alaska’s outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman — a “true Alaskan,” said his son.
Erickson died of COVID-19 in a Seattle hospital where he was being treated for congestive heart failure.
